Lorem and I have an amazing history together that span many, many years – a few millennia to be precise. More important, we share an oeuvre of masterpieces, which I believe are stand-alone and an irrefutable shining testament of literary genius, sheer incomparable genius! As evident in my portfolio, the plethora of collaborations with Lorem serve as a distinct reminder that words are meaningless, and unsubstantiated claims of expertise without validation are worthless -- utter garbage. My vast archive of Lorem Ipsum compositions speak volumes in silence, and are a confirmation and universal symbol of uncompromising brilliance that rival…that...that rival the great Cicero! ;)

Duly noted, my portfolio has no samples available for public consumption, but examples are available upon request. That said, clearly, my website is not in keeping with the ideal minimalist “professional business website,” designed in the classic blue on white layout with no distracting imagery. The proverbial experts claim that modular blue-on-white color scheme is easy on the eyes and conveys to unsuspecting web surfers, professionalism, expertise, and dependability. Statistics also claim that particular conventional style will subliminally coax you – the consumer, into trusting submission so you feel disposed at any given moment to want to buy something. I swear to the Almighty, I'm not making this up! If that truly is the case, maybe I should just convert my friendly, warm, (down to) earth color scheme to blue & white, put up a PayPal link, and ask for free donations just because I'm one heck of a swell gal. Seriously, though, besides being painfully bland, and blending into the shadows with all other professional writing services, those plain blue-on-white websites scream - Conformist. And, I'm anything but --.

My approach to everything in life goes against the grain. I've always been an outsider looking in, as if an alien observing the human species interacting in his natural habitat. I am the square peg, the odd bird, the slightly eccentric - and I would not have it any other way. Sometimes creating your own path in life may not seem practical for $uccess, but I am always, always true to myself. Besides, I like soft shades of amber. Personally, I think warm earth tones reflect trust, familiarity, and maturity, ergo - “Experience.” To me, the colors have a subconscious calming effect like the uncompromising comfort from a favorite childhood security blanket, or the ease and unspoken confidence in a seamless relationship between lifelong friends. Either that, or you’ll inexplicably find yourself craving a caramel latte after you leave my site. I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in English Literature, and write a lot – an awful lot. While in college, I worked as an English tutor in the local public school system for at-risk inner city children, as well as at a learning center for the academically advanced. As my schedule allowed, I privately taught individuals one-on-one, from elementary age to fellow college students. Additionally, I did freelance proofreading, editing and rewriting. I love what I do and that makes all the difference in the world between a mere job and a profession one enjoys, separating drudgery from a real passion for ones work. I write fiction and non-fiction articles; Creative, Business, Research, Academic, Op-Ed style pieces; whatever criterion needs to be met.

My work experience & educational background is well rounded, and my writing/reading interests run the spectrum. Ironically, a large percentage of my work history has been in Finance & Investment, while my career pursuits have been in the Arts and Humanities. These contrasting backgrounds make for a good balance, as the dichotomy serves me well writing on a variety of diverse subjects. I don’t limit myself to one niche area; However, my reading inclination is predominantly non-fiction with a bent towards Religion & Spirituality, Parapsychology, and Paranormal Phenomenon. Any current events, global news, or hot topic headlines are also of interest to me. My personal interests are Art, Photography, Fitness, Meditation/Prayer and Travel. I am an outdoor & nature enthusiast, as well as a strong advocate for animal welfare & anti-cruelty. I will work with pleasure - pro bono, for any non-profit pro-animal welfare organizations. The aforementioned Religion & Spirituality, which I have studied for well over 20 years is a little more than a hobby, but very much a personal calling. Some people take an interest in things of the spirit & the like, while other times the cosmos may take an interest in you. If you choose to follow your Spirit, life as you know it can take a very interesting tumble down the rabbit hole.  With such an unexpected awakening, true enlightenment may open your minds eye to see the world for the very first time. Indeed, truth can be stranger than fiction sometimes. My ambition and personal goal is to write and publish successful novels & screenplays, as well as non-fiction books about my spiritual journey, and the tangible phenomena correlating to different facets of metaphysics. It's an ongoing lifelong undertaking, hence, my concurrent pursuit of freelance writing.

Writing is my passion, and my endeavor is to convey your thoughts, filtered through my words, to fill up your blank sheets of paper.
